Salary: up to £38,000 depending on experience

We’re looking for a proactive and analytical Category Assistant to join a dynamic team supporting product lifecycle management, merchandising, and commercial operations. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Birmingham, offering hybrid working and attractive benefits.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Category Assistant, you’ll support category managers with product listings, promotions, and range development
Maintain accurate product data across systems and channels, ensuring consistency and reliability
Deliver weekly, seasonal, and ad hoc reports to guide trading decisions and performance reviews
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to help shape strategic decisions
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to keep operations running smoothly
Manage supplier contributions and financial reporting to support commercial goalsWhat you’ll bring:
