Description
Develop and manage category strategies to meet organisational objectives.
Lead supplier negotiations to secure value for money and quality services.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong working relationships.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand their procurement needs and provide effective solutions.
Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain.
Analyse market trends to inform procurement decisions and strategies.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
Prepare reports and updates for stakeholders on category performance.Profile
A successful Category Manager should have:
Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
Ability to analyse data and market trends effectively.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
A relevant qualification in procurement or supply chain is desirable.Job Offer
Salary between £50,000 and £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
6% pension contribution.
