Job Description: Job Title: Catering Assistant Location: Evesham Community Hospital, Waterside, Evesham, WR11 1JT Shift Patterns: Monday – Friday 08.30-14.30 Working 15 - 27.5hrs per week plus potential for overtime shifts. They provide services for people of all ages, across a range of settings, experiencing both physical and/or mental health conditions across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. They are the main providers of mental health and learning disability services in both counties, and also deliver community hospitals, neighbourhood teams and community nursing services across Worcestershire. They have over 40 locations within Hospitals and clinic environments. What you’ll be responsible for: * Collaborating with the catering team to prepare and serve appealing meals. * Cleaning food trolleys, crockery, and cutlery to maintain hygiene standards. * General cleaning duties to ensure a spotless and safe kitchen environment. * Food handling and cash handling You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust: * An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS. * A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation. You’ll have the following skills/experience: * Previous experience in a similar role. * Level 2 Food Safety certification. * Knowledge of food hygiene standards. * Strong communication skills in spoken and written English.
