Are you an experienced Kitchen/Catering Assistant looking for a temporary role within a school?

Aspire People are recruiting for Catering staff to work in a School kitchen on a temporary basis starting in September 2026.

Applicants must have experience in catering and either a level one or two hygiene certificate, preferably in a School setting but this is not essential. 

You must be available for work as soon as possible and be willing to work on a temporary basis. The role we currently have is for a school in Nottingham on a 35 hour weekly contract Monday to Friday 7:30-2:30 starting in September.

You will be required to fully register with us, including providing right to work documents along with obtaining an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS that will be processed by us, but comes at a cost of £59 (unless you already have one registered on the update service). Duties of a School Caterer include:
« Ensuring all areas of the school kitchen are clean
« Cook and Prepare food
« Serve food
