Head of Catering – Higher Education Environment
Are you a dynamic and experienced catering leader ready to shape the future of food service in a prestigious academic setting? We’re recruiting for a strategic and hands-on Head of Catering to lead a high-performing team in delivering exceptional dining and hospitality experiences across a collegiate site.
This permanent role combines strategic planning with day-to-day operations, budget ownership, and people leadership. You'll be central to enhancing the catering, bar, and hospitality functions while embedding sustainability and modern practices into every aspect of service delivery.
What you’ll bring:
Proven experience leading catering operations in complex environments
Strong financial and people management skills
Excellent attention to detail, organisational ability, and calm under pressure
Food Hygiene qualification and strong allergen awareness
A flair for innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction
Desirable extras: Experience with bar operations, Level 4 Food Hygiene, wine knowledge, and a passion for sustainability.
