JOB TITLE: Catering Manager
34 Weeks a Year + 9 days
RESPONSIBLE TO: Head of Catering, Commercial & Services (HofCCS)
Job Summary: To lead your Catering Team in continuously looking to improve the quality of both the food delivered and the level of customer service.
To review processes and procedures with a view to maximising the efficiency of the department and reducing costs on a regular basis.
To be responsible for managing the staff and menu requirements for internal and external functions ensuring The Foundation is regarded as a first-class venue.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Oversee recruitment of catering staff in conjunction with the HofCCS and HR for your area of responsibility
* Ensure all day-to-day issues concerning staffing, performance and disciplinary procedure are highlighted, addressed and reported to HR
* Follow the Schools' Healthy Eating ethos for the compilation of weekly menus and function menus, ensuring all Tuck shop and Vending goods (where applicable) also reflect the Healthy Eating ethos
* Liaises with the Schools' Heads on issues arising from the provision of catering within your School
