Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only
Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Catering Manager. In this vital role, you will oversee the daily running of the school kitchen, ensuring the delivery of nutritious, high-quality meals that support the health and well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the school kitchen, ensuring smooth service and high standards.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of catering staff to deliver exceptional service.
Plan and prepare balanced, nutritious meals that meet dietary and allergen requirements.
Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in line with current regulations.
Conduct regular stock takes and manage orders through the online portal.
Liaise with school staff and students to ensure a positive dining experience.
Report to and collaborate with the Area Manager to meet performance targets and service expectations.
Key Requirements
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check
Proven experience in a similar catering management role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy kitchen environment.
