Salary: £65,000-£75,000.
Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed cost plans, bills of quantities, and tender submissions for refurbishment and fit‑out schemes.
Review drawings, specifications, and project information to identify risks, opportunities, and value‑engineering options.
Manage subcontractor enquiries, evaluate quotations, and build robust pricing comparisons.
Work closely with pre‑construction and project teams to ensure bids are accurate, competitive, and aligned with client requirements.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of market rates, supply‑chain capabilities, and construction methods.
Candidate Profile
Experience estimating for a main contractor, ideally within refurbishment or fit‑out.
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident working with drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
