About the Role
Unify is proud to be supporting our client in the search for a CBM Engineer specialising in Vibration and Lubrication. This is a key opportunity to help shape a proactive, systems-led maintenance strategy as part of a major AMP8 investment programme.
You will play a central role in developing and delivering the vibration condition monitoring strategy, working closely with operational teams and project stakeholders to ensure asset reliability and long-term performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct routine vibration-based condition monitoring on critical assets
* Analyse data and produce reports with actionable recommendations
* Advise on maintenance improvements based on long-term trends
* Carry out technical appraisals and recommend condition-based regimes
* Ensure data collection routines are effective and databases are maintained
* Follow up on condition-triggered work to ensure resolution and effectiveness
* Conduct lubrication surveys and recommend improvements to extend asset life
* Support thermography processes and operational teams as required
What We’re Looking For
* HNC in Mechanical Engineering
* Vibration Analysis Level 2 (BINDT or Mobius)
* Proven experience in vibration data capture, analysis, and reporting
* Familiarity with vibration analysis software and route creation
* Background in operational or maintenance engineering environments
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable Skills
* Thermography analysis (BINDT or Mobius)
* Lubrication analysis (ISO (phone number removed), Level 1)
* Experience specifying lubrication regimes
