Job Description
A1 Jobs have an excellent opportunity for a CCTV Engineer with our client, based from Glasgow, the role will cover Central Scotland
Key Responsibilities
* Install & commission CCTV systems (IP-based, Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview, Hanwha; Ajax is a plus).
* Maintain and fault-fix CCTV systems.
* Troubleshoot, problem-solve and complete job documentation accurately.
* Train clients on systems and identify false alarm risks.
* Manage van stock and ensure equipment is pre-checked before jobs.
* Adhere to health and safety procedures; conduct risk assessments.
* Represent the company professionally on client sites.
Skills & Experience Needed
* Experience with CCTV system installations and commissioning.
* Familiarity with British Standards for CCTV.
* Strong understanding of IP networking, system configuration, and IT systems.
* Comfortable working independently and outdoors.
* Good customer service and communication skills.
* Flexible approach to travel and working hours.
Requirements
* Full UK Driving Licence – required
* CSCS card (or equivalent Health & Safety certification) – essential
* BS7858 screening documents (e.g., Passport, Utility Bill, Driver’s Licence) – must be provided
