Your Next Opportunity
We're currently hiring a committed Control Room Operator to join our monitoring team based in Darwen. This is a permanent role with a set 4-on / 4-off shift schedule that includes both day and night shifts. You'll play an essential role in a professional team that provides around-the-clock security services to clients across the country.
This position suits someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with high levels of responsibility and already has experience in CCTV monitoring and control room duties. What You'll Be Doing
Controlling access to client sites through advanced video monitoring systems
Responding quickly and professionally to alarm activations
Providing excellent customer service over the phone in a clear and courteous manner
Communicating with emergency services when necessary and following strict procedures
Writing accurate and timely incident reports
What We're Looking For
We want dependable, detail-oriented individuals who can stay calm and make good decisions under pressure. You should have:
A valid SIA CCTV Licence (Level 2 in CCTV Operations) - required
Be at least 18 years old - required
Previous experience in CCTV operations and working in a busy environment
Strong written and spoken communication skills
The ability to stay focused and composed in challenging situations
A proactive mindset and ability to work independently
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and on a rotating shift pattern
