The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a major defence infrastructure programme during a significant period of transformation and growth. The role has arisen due to the expansion of programme activity and the need to strengthen governance and delivery capability within the Change Management function.
As Change Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and operating the programme’s Change Management framework — ensuring robust control, consistency, and transparency across all change activity. Working within a joint client team, you’ll collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and delivery partners to ensure all programme changes are effectively managed, recorded, and communicated.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Lead and manage the Change Management process and associated governance procedures.
Maintain the Programme Change Management Plan, templates, and documentation.
Oversee and update the Programme Change Register, ensuring data accuracy and traceability.
Chair the Change Committee and provide secretariat and reporting support.
Produce summary information, dashboards, and metrics for senior stakeholders.
Support Project Managers in identifying, managing, and implementing change across the programme.
Drive continuous improvement within change processes and reporting practices.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
SC Clearance (or ability to obtain).
Demonstrable experience in Change Management within a project, programme, or portfolio environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and organisational capability.
Proficient use of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Teams.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise workload and adapt to changing demands.
It’s great if you also have the following
Experience using CEMAR contract administration software.
Chartered professional status in a related discipline.
The setting for the role
The position is offered on a hybrid basis, typically working three days per week in Glasgow City Centre and two days remotely. The assignment is expected to last up to three years, with the potential for extension, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the UK’s most strategically significant defence programmes.
