Channel Partner Manager - Global
With a focus on the management of an existing global distribution network as well as the expansion into new geographical territories, we are seeking a NEW Channel Partner Manager to support our niche client's further sales growth of their patented 'real time water testing' instruments.
Working on a hybrid basis in the UK but having close connectivity to their offices in Worcestershire, the Channel Partner Manager will support the existing market partners developed over the last 5-years for this innovative equipment in territories such as India, China and the US; but also actively target growth in other countries.
The products supplied are continuously evolving and offers the market a unique and technologically strong approach to environmental and water quality testing. Therefore, candidates for this role should have a suitable technical and commercial awareness to support the engagement.
Objectives
- Working with the existing team to develop and manage the global distributor network and to drive sales growth, market penetration and brand visibility.
Key responsibilities:
- Identifying and onboarding high-potential distributors, developing strategic partnerships, setting performance targets, and ensuring setting/alignment with corporate goals.
- Provide training and support, optimizing distribution contracts, managing channel conflicts, and monitoring performance metrics to ensure market penetration and subsequent and consistent revenue growth across regions.
- Manage and deliver commercially strong agreements.
- Identify new relationships and positive expand existing one.
The person
- Proven track record in technical channel partner management on a UK and international basis
- Working knowledge of water quality and water in the natural environment where possible - however, suitable technical exposure from other applications/sectors will be considered
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Target driven
- Clear understanding of channel partner analysis, criteria for appointment
- Happy to travel
This position is support by a very good salary level with car/car allowance, bonus, pension and benefits. Note, the travel element of the role is expected to be inline with the needs of the position and a suitable work life balance.
