Job Description
To carry out comprehensive surveys of council-owned housing stock in line with group and council
requirements. The surveyor will collect, record and report accurate data covering stock condition, Decent
Homes standards, HHSRS hazards, damp and mould, energy performance (RdSAP 10), PAS 2035 retrofit
potential, and photographic evidence.

Description
Conduct property surveys and prepare detailed reports.
Advise on building defects, repairs, and maintenance solutions.
Oversee construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Provide expert opinions on property valuations and conditions.
Coordinate with contractors and other professionals during projects.
Ensure health and safety standards are met on all sites.
Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
Deliver high-quality service to meet client expectations.Profile
A successful Chartered Building Surveyor should have:
Chartered status with a recognised professional body.
Strong knowledge of construction methods and building regulations.
Experience in property surveys and project management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for reporting and analysis.Job Offer
Competitive hourly rate.
Temp to perm: salary of up to £45,000 on a perm basis once successful completion of an interim contract.
Temporary contract offering flexibility and varied responsibilities.
