Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for 3 experienced Chartered Surveyors with strong asset and property management expertise to support the preparation of a significant residential investment portfolio for sale together with other mixed use assets.
This role is not a traditional project management post. It requires the professional insight of a Chartered Surveyor who can combine asset management knowledge with transactional awareness to identify risk, ensure the portfolio is sale-ready, fully documented, and capable of withstanding investor due diligence.
You will work across a diverse investment portfolio (including Build-to-Rent, PRS, and affordable housing schemes), ensuring that documentation is accurate, risks are identified and addressed, and the evidence base is strong enough to support a successful transaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Review portfolio records to ensure they are complete, accurate, and compliant for due diligence purposes.
* Identify gaps, risks, and inconsistencies in property, legal, financial, and compliance data - resolving them before they impact valuation or buyer confidence.
* Lead the collation, organisation, and presentation of documents in a structured virtual data room.
* Provide clear reporting on portfolio readiness, including risk mitigation strategies.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors (legal, finance, consultants, valuers, investment managers) to deliver a seamless “fitness for sale” outcome.
About You
* Chartered Surveyor (MRICS/FRICS) with demonstrable property and asset management expertise.
* Experience in residential investment portfolios (Build-to-Rent, PRS, affordable housing) is highly desirable but not essential.
* Strong understanding of property documentation, compliance requirements, and due diligence processes.
* Proven ability to support disposals, portfolio transactions, or major asset reviews.
* Commercially astute, detail-focused, and confident working under tight deadlines.
