A rare opportunity has come up to join one of Scotland’s largest and most diverse property organisations, managing and disposing of a substantial portfolio of operational and non-operational assets across the Glasgow area.
This role will see you supporting the delivery of a high-profile valuation and capital receipts programme, with the chance to work on complex property transactions and major city projects that genuinely shape the built environment.
You’ll work within a respected, collaborative team known for its professionalism, public value and long-term impact, ideal for an MRICS Surveyor who enjoys combining technical valuation expertise with hands-on deal-making.
The Role
* Carrying out Red Book valuations of a wide range of land and property assets
* Supporting the delivery of the organisation’s capital receipts and asset valuation programme
* Preparing marketing briefs and leading disposal negotiations (both on and off-market)
* Collaborating with legal representatives to ensure the timely completion of transactions
* Preparing clear, accurate reports and professional recommendations for senior stakeholders and committees
* Contributing to ongoing asset-management and disposal strategies
About You
* Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and RICS Registered Valuer
* Proven experience in valuations, disposals, and negotiations within a property environment
* Strong grasp of the RICS Valuation - Professional Standards and local authority accounting principles
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to produce concise valuation and committee reports
* Comfortable managing a varied workload and working collaboratively across teams
* Full UK driving licence
