Job Description
Cook / Chef - Kelso, Scottish Borders
We're hiring a cook/chef for a 12-week temporary role at a busy manufacturing site canteen serving around 250 staff. Immediate start.
You'll prepare breakfast (hot morning rolls) and lunch (soups, mains, pastries, chips, etc.), plus occasional hospitality catering for meetings. The kitchen is open-plan, so a clean, professional front-of-house presence is key.
Speed and efficiency are essential due to short staff breaks. Once settled, you'll manage temperature checks, cleaning rotas, menus, and ordering. Support and induction provided by an experienced relief chef.
Free parking available. No accommodation. Non-smoking site.
