Relief Chef – Care Home Setting
Are you a skilled and experienced Chef looking for flexible shifts in a care home environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Resilience Personnel.
Resilience Personnel is a leading recruitment agency, providing high-quality and dependable staff to care homes across the UK. We are currently seeking Relief Chefs who are available for part-time shifts (including long days, evenings, weekends, or rotating shifts).
As a Relief Chef, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals tailored to residents' dietary needs, maintaining high hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations in line with care home requirements.
As a Relief Chef working through our agency, your role will include:
* Preparing and serving meals for residents as directed by the home or special diets for the individual needs of those living in the home.
* Need to have knowledge in nutrition
* Have to maintain hygiene of kitchen
* Need to to understand and comply with legal requirements like Food Safety and Food Hygiene
Experience:
It would be advantageous if the candidate has worked as chef in UK
Benefits:
We already have the menu available, so the chef can prepare in advance before starting work.
The work is zero hour contractual. So candidate can work according to their availabilty.

* Competitive hourly rate of £17.00 - £18.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
