Chefs Wanted - Ongoing Work in Kilmarnock (£15-£17 DOE)
We are recruiting Chefs for a long-term placement with our client in Kilmarnock - a large, busy prep kitchen supplying high-volume festive and seasonal food.
🔪 Role Overview:
You'll be working mostly in prep and chef de partie duties, helping with Christmas production such as:
Rolling and pressing turkey
Preparing roulades and other festive items
Supporting a high-output kitchen team with day-to-day prep
🕒 Hours & Pay:
Monday to Friday - 7am to 4pm
1-hour lunch break
£15-£17 per hour (depending on experience)
ASAP August start
2-3 months consistent work, with potential for temp-to-perm for the right candidates
🚌 Location & Access:
Based in Kilmarnock
Only a 5-minute walk from the nearest bus stop
Driving licence preferred but not essential
✅ What We're Looking For:
Reliable, switched-on chefs who can pick things up quickly
Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety
Team players who can work efficiently with minimal supervision once trained
