Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Chef to join our school catering team in Malborne. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for preparing healthy, nutritious meals and ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene in a busy school environment.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and cook meals in line with school menus and dietary requirements.

Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards at all times.

Manage food storage, stock rotation, and kitchen organisation.

Supervise and work alongside kitchen assistants to ensure smooth service.

Ensure meals are delivered on time to fit around the school day.
*
Adapt menus to cater for allergies, intolerances, and special dietary needs.
About You
*
Previous professional experience as a Chef is essential (school or catering environment desirable).
*
Up-to-date Food Hygiene qualification.
*
Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen best practice.
*
Organised, efficient, and able to work under pressure.

A team player with good communication and leadership skills.
