Job Description
Are you a culinary professional seeking a fulfilling role in a picturesque environment? Our client is looking for a Chef/Cook to join their dedicated team. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on the daily lives of students and staff by preparing nutritious and delicious meals from scratch.
This role involves preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring that every meal is a delightful experience. The position is hands-on and requires a passion for cooking on a large scale, making it perfect for those who thrive in a dynamic and busy kitchen environment.
Candidates should bring a proven track record of preparing meals from scratch. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of food safety and hygiene standards, along with the ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.

Please note this role is offered on a contract of between 41-44 weeks per year (term time plus 7-10 weeks holiday cover)
As the Chef, you will be:
* Preparing a range of dishes from fresh foods
* Serving across breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on a rota basis
* Assisting with functions
* Ensuring high level of hygiene standards
* Clearing away and keeping kitchen areas clean and tidy
* Assisting with ad hoc catering requirements
As the Chef, you will have:
* Experience of cooking dishes up to 700 people
* Experience within a similar setting
* A passion to deliver high standard nutritious meals
* A reliable and team minded spirit
