Chef Manager - Gravesend Area
Pay Rate: £15 per hour | Immediate Start | Academics
Academics are seeking an experienced Chef Manager to join a busy School Kitchen in the Gravesend area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by delivering nutritious, high-quality meals to pupils and staff.
Key Details:
Location: Dartford, Kent
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (agency position)
Start Date: Immediate
Requirements: Must hold a current Enhanced DBS
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day running of the school kitchen
Manage and motivate the catering team
Plan, prepare and serve healthy and balanced meals
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen regulations
Manage stock, budgets, and supplier orders
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Chef Manager or similar role in a school or catering environment
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergen management
Enhanced DBS (essential)
