Vision for Education are recruiting on behalf of a leading sixth-form college in Manchester for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Chemistry to join their Science department from January 2026.
This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for an inspiring teacher who is passionate about Chemistry and eager to support A-Level students in achieving outstanding results. The post would suit either an experienced classroom teacher or a confident ECT with a strong academic background and excellent subject knowledge.
About the role:
Teaching A-Level Chemistry to motivated post-16 students
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge learners
Contributing to the wider Science faculty through assessment, enrichment and collaboration
Full-time, permanent position from January 2026

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teacher of Chemistry you will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or other relevant qualification
Have experience teaching Chemistry to KS5
Be able to motivate, inspire and challenge students
Able to provide suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK
