Our community-focused school in Hillingdon is actively searching for a highly engaging Biology Teacher to enhance our dynamic Science department. This is a unique opportunity for a Biology Teacher to truly bring the wonders of the living world to life for students across all secondary key stages, including dedicated A-Level Biology classes. We are keen to appoint a Biology Teacher who is passionate about practical investigations, can foster a deep understanding of complex biological concepts, and inspires a genuine love for Biology in every student. Your role as a Biology Teacher will be pivotal in cultivating the next generation of scientists with a strong foundation in Biology.
Location: Hillingdon Role: Biology Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent) Salary: Competitive, with potential for leadership opportunities (TLR).
Your Contribution as Our Biology Teacher:
You will be responsible for planning and delivering stimulating Biology lessons that cater to a range of abilities, from foundational concepts in Year 7 to advanced topics in A-Level Biology. A key aspect of this Biology Teacher role involves designing and conducting engaging Biology experiments safely and effectively, encouraging hands-on learning and critical scientific inquiry in Biology. You will assess student progress in Biology, provide constructive feedback, and guide students towards achieving excellent results in their Biology examinations. Contributing to the broader Science curriculum and participating in extra-curricular Biology activities are also expected from our ideal Biology Teacher.
