About the Role
As a Chemistry Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
• Teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4, with A-Level opportunities available.
• Creating innovative, practical-based lessons that stretch and challenge students.
• Delivering complex concepts clearly and effectively.
• Providing detailed and personalised feedback to support pupil progress.
• Contributing to departmental planning and CPD.
• Supporting extra-curricular initiatives like science fairs or STEM clubs.
• Building strong relationships with students and parents.
Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in Chemistry or related field
• PGCE/QTS with Chemistry specialism
• Passion for teaching and inspiring scientific curiosity
• Ability to motivate students across ability ranges
• A team player who values collaboration
Salary
The salary for this Chemistry Teacher post is on the national scale – MPS/UPS.
