Job Description
An academically ambitious and supportive school in Slough is looking to appoint a dynamic and knowledgeable Chemistry Teacher for a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2025. As a Chemistry Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering engaging Chemistry lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential for KS5

Planning and assessing lessons in line with curriculum objectives and school expectations

Promoting an active, experiment-based approach to Chemistry

Supporting students in developing analytical and investigative skills

Preparing learners for GCSE and A-Level exams with clear targets and feedback
*
Contributing to departmental planning and CPD opportunities
*
Encouraging a love of science through clubs, competitions, and trips
The successful Chemistry Teacher will:

Have a strong academic background in Chemistry and hold QTS

Demonstrate a clear understanding of assessment and differentiation
