Job Description
We are looking for a Chemistry Teacher to work within a highly regarded and ambitious secondary school based in Taunton.
• Chemistry Teacher required from September to work on a full-time basis
• Progressive school in Taunton with strong STEM culture
• Chemistry Teacher to lead innovative and high-quality KS3–KS5 teaching
You’ll join an established science team with high uptake at A-Level and university progression. Lessons are supported with excellent lab facilities and an enthusiastic technical team. The school runs a thriving science club and encourages participation in national competitions such as the UK Chemistry Olympiad.
Experience and Qualifications
• Chemistry degree with QTS
• Ability to teach KS5 desirable
• Strong classroom management and experimental pedagogy
• Interest in student mentorship and enrichment
• Right to work in the UK
