The Role:
You’ll be teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 Science, with a strong emphasis on Chemistry. Lessons should be explosive in enthusiasm (but not in health & safety terms!), inspiring students to see the magic in molecules and the beauty in biology and physics too.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons
Differentiating to meet the needs of all learners
Creating a safe and stimulating learning environment
Assessing progress and setting goals that motivate students
Bringing that extra spark that makes students say “Science is actually fun!”
What We’re Looking For:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – essential
An enhanced DBS (we can help you apply if needed)
EWC (Education Workforce Council) registration – or willingness to register
A genuine passion for Science education
Specialism in Chemistry preferred – we love a good bonding session!
