About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Chemistry Lecturer to join our Department of Chemistry. You will deliver high-quality teaching to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students, contribute to curriculum development, and support student learning and research.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Chemistry.
Design and develop course materials and assessments aligned with curriculum goals.
Supervise student projects and dissertations.
Provide academic support and guidance to students.
Participate in research activities and contribute to departmental goals.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and quality assurance.
Contribute to outreach and recruitment activities as required.Essential Qualifications and Experience:
A degree in Chemistry or a closely related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
Experience teaching Chemistry at university level.
Strong subject expertise and ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
Commitment to high-quality teaching and student support.
Evidence of ongoing professional development in teaching.Desirable:
Research experience and publications in relevant areas of Chemistry.
Experience supervising undergraduate or postgraduate research.
Experience with curriculum design and assessment.
