Job Description
Are you a qualified Science Teacher with a specialism in Chemistry looking to work with a secondary school in the High Wycombe area, Buckinghamshire?
Academics Ltd are working with a brilliant school in High Wycombe who are looking to appoint a Science Teacher with a chemistry specialism to join their team from September2025 on a permanent full time basis. We are looking to appoint a fully qualified teacher (with QTS) who is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management.
This is also a great opportunity for ECT's looking for their first teaching role.
The Role:
Permanent role
Teach Chemistry up to KS4
Full timeThe school are looking for a Teacher who:
Is passionate about their subject and is a great practitioner with high expectations and good classroom management
Can plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students of all abilities
Is interested in the science of learning and is committed to continuous improvement
Can demonstrate excellent organisational and inter-personal skills and the ability to contribute to the team, has clear vision, energy and commitment to all aspects of school life
Has a desire and passion to make a real difference to the lives and life-chances of our studentsChemistry Teacher Requirements:
Degree in Science or a related field
Relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE or QTS
Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum and teaching techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
