Chief Revenue Officer - B2B Tech Events Company

I am recruiting for a Chief Revenue Officer within a fast-growing B2B tech events company that is driving Europe's Deep Tech Revolution. They are building Europe's leading deep tech capital and customer acquisition marketplace, combining a business intelligence and matchmaking platform with a flagship conference.
As Chief Revenue Officer you will drive revenue, partnerships, and brand as the company scales rapidly. You will own the revenue vertical of the company while shaping the future of their platform and ecosystem.
Your Journey
(First 6 months): You will dive deep into our ecosystem, working with us to refine our value proposition. Your initial focus will be on building the revenue pipeline, with an emphasis on securing and expanding key partnerships. You'll be the primary driver of financial growth, laying the foundation for scale.
(Next 12-18 months): You will grow from hands-on sales to strategic leadership. You will build and mentor a small, elite commercial team, creating scalable frameworks for all revenue streams. Your focus will shift to optimising their marketplace flywheel and identifying new opportunities for exponential growth.
(Beyond 24 months): Your role will expand to co-designing the future of the business as a whole. You will be a key voice in shaping new initiatives, from geo-cloning to platform monetisation strategies. You will see the direct impact of your work as the company becomes the central hub of Europe's deep tech ecosystem.
Who You Are
You are a seasoned commercial leader with 5 years+ of experience, a proven track record of closing five- and six-figure deals, and a deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles. You thrive in a high-autonomy startup environment and are passionate about the potential of deep tech to change the world.
