Child Development Assistant
Full-Time / Part-Time | £Competitive Pay | Flexible Shifts
Are you passionate about working with children and supporting their development in a fun, nurturing environment? We’re looking for enthusiastic and caring Nursery Assistants to join our team across sites in York and Acomb.
This is a flexible opportunity with a range of shift patterns available between 8am and 6pm. You’ll have the chance to cover across different sites, providing support on a long-term, day-to-day, part-time, or full-time basis to cover staff absences and sickness.
What you’ll do:
Support nursery staff in delivering high-quality care and early years education
Help create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children
Assist with play activities, meal times, and daily routines
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are always metAbout you:
Caring, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting children’s development
Flexible and adaptable, with availability to work a variety of shifts between 8–6
Able to work across different nursery sites (York & Acomb)
Experience in childcare or a relevant qualification is an advantage, but not essential – training can be providedWhat we offer:
