Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Child Minder on behalf of our client based in Braintree.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with childcare experience who is looking for a part-time role to fit around other commitments. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing a safe, caring, and supportive environment for children before and after school hours.
The successful candidate will:
* Have experience caring for or working with children in any setting (e.g., nursery, school, dinner lady, previous childminding, or similar)
* Be reliable, responsible, and enjoy working with children
* Hold an up-to-date DBS check (or be willing to obtain one with our client’s support)
* Be patient, caring, and approachable with good communication skills
Role Purpose:
To ensure the wellbeing and safety of children in your care, providing supervision, support, and engaging interaction during before- and after-school hours.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Supervising children before school and after school
* Ensuring a safe, friendly, and supportive environment
* Assisting with snacks/refreshments where required
* Helping children with activities or homework where appropriate
* Following safeguarding and health & safety policies at all times
Working hours:
* Monday – Friday: 07:30 – 08:30 and 15:00 – 18:00
Pay rate:
* £12.50 per hour
