Childcare Lawyer Rate: £50 - 55 per hour (umbrella) Location: East Midlands Working: Hybrid About the Childcare Lawyer Role: Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a locum Childcare Lawyer to join a local authority based in the East Midlands. The role will be for an initial 3 month period with a strong possibility of this being extended. Key Responsibilities of the Childcare Lawyer role: To act as a legal advisor Advise upon and conduct proceedings relating to the care and protection of children To provide legal advice and support services to clients To carry a caseload of predominantly public childcare care proceedings To advocate, when necessary, at the family courtsThe role will be a hybrid working arrangement whereby you will need to attend family courts in the East Midlands at in-person hearings on a weekly basis.
