About The Role
As Deputy Manager, you will collaborate with the Registered Manager to oversee the home's daily operations. You'll lead by example, promote best practices, ensuring a safe, structured, and enriching environment for the young people in our care.
Duties
* Lead and support a team of Residential Support Workers, fostering a collaborative and effective work environment.
* Assist the Registered Manager in ensuring full compliance with regulatory and Ofsted standards.
* Oversee the implementation and regular review of care plans to meet individual needs.
* Serve as a positive role model and mentor, guiding staff development and best practices.
* Manage staffing schedules, budgets, and administrative duties efficiently.
* Participate in the on-call rota and provide shift cover when necessary.
* Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and professional partners
* Encourage independence, emotional resilience, and positive outcomes for young people through supportive care and guidance
