We're Hiring! - Children's Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (CHISVA) 💫
📍 Based across Sandwell, Walsall & Dudley
🕓 37.5 hours per week | Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
💰 £24,310 - £27,751 (depending on qualifications & experience)
🚗 Travel required - must hold a full driving licence

We're looking for a compassionate, trauma-informed professional to join our team as a Children's Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (CHISVA). This is a frontline role where every day you'll empower children and young people (aged 5-18) to find safety, rebuild trust, and begin their journey to recovery. 🌈
🌟 What You'll Do:
👧 Provide one-to-one emotional and practical support to children and young people.
💬 Use creative, age-appropriate interventions to help them understand and process trauma.
🤝 Support parents and carers to help them understand the impact of abuse and how to respond.
⚖️ Offer clear, accurate information about rights, options, and the criminal justice process.
📈 Work closely with schools, social care, health, and police to ensure joined-up, child-centred support.
💜 What You'll Bring:
✅ Experience supporting children and young people affected by trauma, abuse, or violence.
✅ A calm, compassionate and resilient approach.
✅ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
✅ Knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment and multi-agency working.
✅ A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
