Children’s Mental Health Assistant South Tyneside £400–£500 per week Immediate Starts Do you have a passion for supporting young people? Do you want a flexible work/life balance? The School and Role We have an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team as a Children’s Mental Health Assistant in the South Tyneside area. In this rewarding role, you’ll support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them to feel safe, understood, and confident in their learning environment. A key focus of this position is to build positive relationships, support emotional regulation, and use de-escalation strategies to manage challenging situations calmly and effectively. This is a long-term role with potential to become permanent for the right candidate. All applicants will need to complete a Right to Work check and hold (or be willing to obtain) a DBS on the Update Service.
