Role: Children's Residential - Deputy Manager Salary: £37,980.00 - £39,442.00 per annum Service : 4 Bed- Child Sexual Exploitation Location: Sowerby Bridge Full time permanent position, 37.5 hours per week, operating on a flexible shift pattern including evenings, weekends, and an average of two sleeps per week (included in salary) The site offers specialist therapeutic care and education for up to 4 children (aged 11-18 years old) who have been victims of child sexual exploitation, Join a passionate, purpose-driven organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of children and young people who have experienced complex trauma and abuse. Key Responsibilities & Duties Assist the manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose and uphold the organisation's missions' statement and values. Deputise for the Home Manager in the event that they are on leave or otherwise absent from the home. Support and manage the care team to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people. Undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate. Ensure each shift is planned and resources allocated. Work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people. Offer supervision and support to carers in line with Quality Standards & Regulations and as directed by the Home Manager. Promote Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) approach and engage/lead weekly MDT meetings with Clinical and Education services on site. Be aware of the aims of the home and work collaboratively with all colleagues to achieve themWhat We're Looking For 1 years' relevant supervisory experience 12 months experience of working in a residential setting with young people with challenging behaviours, with a minimum of 6 months of these having been at a senior level. Experience of acting as appropriate adult.
