Children's Residential Support Worker (EBD) Location: Oxford Salary: £29,900 per annum + Sleep-In Payments Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (38 Hours per Week) Are you passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people? AA Euro Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing children's residential care provider for Children's Residential Support Workers to join their expanding team across Oxford. The Role As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in providing day-to-day care, guidance, and emotional support to young people, helping them build confidence, independence, and brighter futures. Working alongside an experienced management team, you'll help create a stable, caring home environment where every child feels safe, valued, and heard. Key Responsibilities Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people. Support each young person's physical, emotional, educational, and social development. Encourage independence while promoting positive routines and healthy lifestyles. Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with individual care plans. Ensure children have a voice in decisions affecting their lives through effective communication. Support young people to access education, hobbies, appointments, and community activities. Participate in therapeutic interventions and positive behaviour support strategies. Complete daily records, reports, and documentation accurately. Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child protection at all times. Attend team meetings, supervisions, and mandatory training. Work collaboratively with families, social workers, schools, and other professionals. Key Worker Responsibilities As a Key Worker, you will: Develop meaningful relationships with your allocated young person. Understand their history, strengths, aspirations, and support needs. Coordinate their care and support plans. Monitor progress towards agreed goals. Liaise with families and professionals involved in their care. Prepare reports and contribute to statutory reviews and planning meetings. What We're Looking For Essential Genuine passion for supporting children and young people. Resilient, caring, and emotionally intelligent. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare. Desirable Experience working within a Children's Residential Home. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete). Full UK Driving Licence.
