Essential Requirements
PMVA, PRICE Intervention or Team Teach training
Minimum 6 months experience within children’s residential care
Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour, trauma and emotional behavioural difficulties
Confident in managing incidents, de escalation and safeguarding concerns
Up to date safeguarding training
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
Full right to work in the UK
The Role
Supporting children and young people within residential settings with complex needs and challenging behaviour
Managing behaviours that challenge using approved physical intervention techniques where required
Building positive, consistent relationships to promote stability and trust
Supporting daily routines including education, activities and independent living skills
Accurately recording incidents, behaviours and progress notes
Working as part of a team to ensure a safe and structured environment
Maintaining professional boundaries at all times
Compliance
