Job Description
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people? Velox Social Care is seeking committed and compassionate Support Workers to provide structured, person-centred care to Children and Young People (CYP) across the Reading area.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day care, support, and guidance for children and young people..
*
Promote a safe, nurturing, and structured home environment.
*
Support young people in education, activities, and life skills development.
Essential Requirements:
*
PMVA, Team Teach, MAPA or PRICE training (in-date certification).
*
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, or equivalent Health and Social Care qualification (or working towards it).
*
Experience working with children or young people in a residential or similar setting.
*
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
*
Ability to work shifts including days,evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
Desirable Attributes:
*
Calm, patient, and emotionally resilient under pressure.
*
Passionate about making a positive difference in children’s lives.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*
A full UK driving licence (preferred, but not essential depending on location).
