The Role As a Children’s residential Support Worker, you’ll play a key part in creating a safe, nurturing, and homely environment where young people can thrive. No two days will be the same—you’ll be supporting residents in developing essential life skills, encouraging positive routines, and helping them feel empowered and valued. Key responsibilities include * Building positive relationships through key working sessions and day-to-day support. * Supporting young people’s well-being, confidence, and personal development. * Facilitating and supervising family contact to strengthen healthy relationships. * Organising and joining in with engaging activities and events. * Keeping accurate records and attending meetings with professionals involved in care planning. * Supporting household routines to ensure homes remain clean, welcoming, and comfortable. You’ll be working in beautifully designed, modern residential homes, all praised by Ofsted for their high-quality décor and warm, homely feel. These environments are carefully created to help young people feel safe, supported, and respected. What We’re Looking For * Genuine passion for supporting children and young people. * A **clean UK driving licence** (essential). * Minimum **6 months’ recent paid UK experience** as a Support Worker. * Experience with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. * **NVQ Level 3** in Children & Young People’s Workforce (or higher). * Mandatory training certifications (MAPA training preferred). * Competence in all aspects of care, with flexibility and reliability. * Excellent communication skills and a caring, professional approach.
