Children's Residential Support Worker
Salary £35,809.49 per annum (inclusive of sleeps), rising to £36,308.06 on completion of a successful probation period. Our salaries are paid above the minimum wage and proven to be competitive with other establishments within the area.

About Us
Affinity Children’s Care is a family run residential childcare provider, offering a variety of residential placements to young people between the ages of 8 – 18 who may display emotional and challenging behaviours. The young people placed within our services have often experienced significant adversity and trauma in their young lives and may no longer able to reside within their familial / foster home.
Our aim is to create a safe and sustainable nurturing environment for our young people and a developmental and rewarding workplace for our care team. We ensure our team(s) adhere to Ofsted standards and guidelines referencing the Children’s Act and Children’s Care Standards, Ofsted is the looked after children’s regulatory body.
Our position
We have an exciting opportunity within Affinity Children’s Care Ltd to work as a therapeutic Children’s Residential Support Worker, working with young people between the ages of 8 -18.
Our vacancy is open to experienced candidates who hold or working towards their Level 3 diploma in Children’s and Young People or a higher qualification but we will also consider a person with transferable experience and understanding of the challenges young people and carers face within a residential care setting.
The working pattern is based on a 3 week-rolling rota basis, calculated at 56.4 hours per week(sleeps included), equating to 1 day on, 2 days off (07:00am-10:30pm + sleep). Sleep shifts are included in the annual salary and payment of which is guaranteed when on annual leave.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
