Job Description
Do you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children? Connect2SocialWork are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to work in a 3-bed EBD children's home in Ilford,
The main purpose of the job is to advise, assist and support young people, ensuring that their welfare is safeguarded at all times.
REQUIREMENTS:
Secondary Education (essential) / NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
Awareness of children's needs and safeguarding issues
Good communication skills
Emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours
Previous experience of working within a team
RATE OF PAY:
Up to £13.50 per hour
Sleep-ins paid at £50/sleep
Working pattern: 4 days on, 2 days off (includes weekends and sleep-ins)
