Job Description
Belmont Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Children’s Residential Practitioner to join Leeds City Council’s Residential ServicesTeam.
This is a temporary contract with a view to extend.
The Role
*
Provide direct care and emotional support to children and young people.
*
Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans.
*
Support young people with education, leisure, and social activities.
*
Promote safeguarding, safety, and wellbeing at all times.
*
Maintain accurate records, reports, and handovers.
*
Work as part of a supportive staff team on a rota basis.
About You
*
Previous experience supporting children and young people in residential or care settings.
*
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection frameworks.
*
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
