Key Responsibilities: * Provide high-quality support to children and young people, encouraging independence and responsibility appropriate to their age. * Promote the well-being and safety of young residents within a supportive, therapeutic environment. * Support young people in developing social, emotional, and behavioural skills. * Assist with daily activities, including outings, educational pursuits, and recreational activities. * Manage challenging behaviours calmly and safely, maintaining a positive environment. * Home management duties, including promoting a homely, friendly atmosphere. * Build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young people's care. * Keep up-to-date with individual care plans, guidelines, reward systems, and communication preferences. * Safeguard young people from risks to their health and welfare. What We Are Looking For: * Experience working with young people in social care or similar environments is desirable. * A full UK Driving Licence is essential for transporting young people. * Applicants must be over 21 years old. * NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People is preferred but not essential. * Passionate, resilient, and committed to making a difference. * Enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills.
