The Role As a Children's Residential Support Worker, no two days are the same. You will play a key role in helping children feel safe, valued, and supported within a family-style environment. Responsibilities include: * Building strong, trusting relationships with children and young people * Supporting emotional wellbeing and encouraging positive daily challenges * Helping children develop independence and essential life skills * Supporting educational and learning goals * Planning activities and community-based experiences * Delivering engaging and meaningful key work sessions * Using positive behaviour support approaches * Supporting children with routines, communication, and personal care where required * Working alongside schools, families, and external professionals * Creating a safe, welcoming, and nurturing home environment * Acting as a positive role model every day Whether it's helping a young person achieve a personal milestone, supporting a day out, teaching life skills, or simply being a consistent and trusted adult, your contribution will make a real difference.
