We’re looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join our dedicated team at our Ofsted-regulated children’s home. You’ll play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children and young people who may have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect.
About the Role:
* Provide day-to-day emotional and practical support to children
* Help create a stable and caring home environment that promotes healing, growth, and independence.
* Support children with routines, schoolwork, activities, and personal development.
* Manage challenging behaviour with empathy, patience, and consistency.
* Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, including social workers, therapists, and education professionals.
* Keep accurate records and contribute to care plans and reports.
What We’re Looking For:
* A genuine passion for working with children and young people.
* Experience in a care, support, or education setting (preferred but not essential).
* Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and handle emotionally challenging situations.
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Health and Social care for children.
* Full UK driving licence (preferred).
