Children's Social Worker - CP, CIN & Court - Ealing £37.52/hr
Location: Percival House, Ealing
Rate: £37.52 per hour (London Pledge capped rate)
Hours: 35 per week (office-based 2 days, remote 3 days)
Contract: 3-month assignment
Caseload: 15-18 children
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker to join the MAST Hanwell Team in Ealing. This is a frontline statutory role working with Child Protection, Child in Need, and Court proceedings. You will manage a complex caseload, ensuring timely interventions and safeguarding outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake Child Protection investigations, CIN planning, and Section 47 enquiries.
Prepare and present court reports, statements, and care plans.
Manage complex cases within statutory timescales.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children.
Contribute to team duty rota and respond to urgent safeguarding concerns.
Essential Requirements
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
Proven experience in Child Protection, CIN, and Court work.
Ability to manage high-risk cases and meet statutory deadlines.
Strong knowledge of Children Act 1989, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and Public Law Outline (PLO).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working Arrangements
Hybrid model: 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.
