Key Job Details: Role: Childrens Support Worker (Agency Family & Community Support) Pay: £16 - £18 per hour Job Type: Part-time, Temporary (Agency) Location: Havering and surrounding areas Requirements: Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a reliable car, as the role involves taking young people out into the community About the Role: We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Childrens Support Workers to work with children, young people, and families in a variety of settings. You will provide emotional and practical support, help families strengthen routines, develop positive coping strategies, and create safe and nurturing environments. A key part of the role will include taking young people out into the community to support their social development, confidence, and engagement in positive activities so the ability to drive is essential. Key Responsibilities: Support children, young people, and families to achieve positive outcomes. Take young people out into the community to engage in social and recreational activities. Provide emotional and practical guidance to promote stability and wellbeing. Work collaboratively with social workers, schools, and health professionals. Uphold safeguarding principles and respond appropriately to any concerns. Maintain accurate case notes, progress reports, and records in line with policy.
